Design thinking, visual articulation and a love for learning guide my actions as a graphic and interactive designer, a design educator, a cross disciplinarian, and a digital conceptualist. This is a selection of my projects, essays and experiences.

Book Design
Semester synthesis
This book project (first four images) is an analysis and synthesis of all the projects I completed in the semester leading up to my thesis research. While these projects did not directly address the topic of "digital collecting" (because my thesis had yet to be formulated), I was identifying some strong conceptual links beginning to surface in my work. I used this format (with annotated inserts and color coded bars) to visualize and articulate the related, and at times tangential, threads occurring in my work.
Multiple Intelligences
This book design (last three images) is based on Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences. Specifically I explored the theory of Bodily, Spatial, and Intrapersonal intelligence in this small accordion fold book. The typography and custom photography blurs the attributes between living and inanimate characters in the story, and explores a gradient of spatial relationships between narrator and subject.
